For 23 days, the indigenous movement of Roraima has been mobilized in the São Marcos Indigenous Land, a Wise community, in the II Free Land Camp (ATL), "Fight for Life". There are more than 2 thousand indigenous people from eight peoples, including traditional leaders, men, women, young people and children who, with songs, paintings, dances and traditional costumes, say "Out with Marco Temporal!".

In addition to the protest in the Sabiá community, there are other mobilizations in the Tabalascada community, Serra da Lua region, Centro Willimon, and Pedra Preta, in the Serras region, Raposa Serra do Sol Indigenous Land.
"This mobilization is very important for the indigenous movement, through it we are claiming our rights. We are here to support ourselves with food that we produce on our lands. We don't want anything from anyone, we want what is rightfully ours," said the coordinator of the Murupú Region, Alexandro Chagas.
Indigenous youth, who are also present, have stood out in the movement's mobilizations. It is a warrior youth that shows strength and resistance in favor of all peoples. "Today the struggle is continuous in our indigenous lands, it is arduous, it is not easy, and we as youth have this mission to protect our people and our mother earth," said Youth advisor Raquel Wapichana.

An important traditional leader, shaman Mariana also participates in the mobilizations. She said she fears for the present and future of the next generations. For her, the land is much more than a geographical space, it is the life of indigenous peoples. "The current government wants to end our people, end our forests, end our water, we are suffering from illegal mining on our lands, the Temporal Framework was born yesterday and we already existed before 1988," said the shaman.

Even in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, the indigenous peoples of Brazil decided to leave their communities to claim the importance of the territory. "The Time Frame ends the history of indigenous peoples and saying that we exist, we resist and insist, colonization arrived here in 1500, we were already here, we indigenous peoples are originally from this land," said the youth coordinator, Alcebias Sapará.

On September 9, 2021, the minister and rapporteur of the case Edson Fachin voted against the use of the ruralist thesis of the time frame, marking the first victory of indigenous peoples in this trial that defines the future of indigenous peoples throughout Brazil. The trial went on break shortly after Fachin's vote, and will return next Wednesday (15). The mobilizations will continue until the end of the trial.
