The Tabatinga Indigenous Community in the Raposa Serra do Sol Indigenous Land was invaded and attacked this afternoon (16) by BOPE police. According to the leaders of the Tabatinga Community that is within the Raposa Serra do Sol Indigenous Land, the attack was carried out by the military police of the state of Roraima, during the removal of a surveillance and monitoring post that is within the Indigenous Land. The reports with photos of the leaders indicate that there were 6 people injured during the attack, including a woman and the Tuxaua of the Tabatinga community.
The Indigenous Council of Roraima became aware of the attacks on the leaders and took the appropriate measures.
