The documentary “Success Story” about the indigenous communicators of the Wakywai Network, which in the Wapixana language means "our news," shows how indigenous communication combated fake news during the pandemic and strengthened the Indigenous Communication Network in Roraima.
The Success Stories were narrated by indigenous leaders and communicators from Roraima's Wakywai network of the Indigenous Council of Roraima (CIR), who participated in training offered on the production of communication materials, on fake news, and conducting interviews about the COVID-19 pandemic.
The training and production of the video benefited from the important support of Internews and IEB, through the Rooted in Trust project.
