With this beginning of voluminous rains, the residents of the communities lost their gardens. The rivers, streams and lakes filled up very quickly, even flooding the houses.
For this reason, the Indigenous Council of Roraima (CIR) is collecting foodstuffs, hygiene kits, clothes, blankets for the indigenous communities that are suffering from the heavy rains.
