The Indigenous Council of Roraima (CIR) was present at the march "Demarcate, Lula: Sovereign Brazil is demarcated and protected indigenous land", held this Thursday (09), during the Free Land Camp 2026, in Brasilia.
The mobilization went from the Esplanade of the Ministries to the National Congress, bringing together thousands of indigenous people from different regions of the country in an act of resistance and reaffirmation of the struggle for territorial rights.
The CIR participated together with the delegation from Roraima, with the presence of leaders and women from the Yekuana and Yanomami peoples, in a historic moment of union of indigenous women, strengthening the collective struggle in defense of territories, life and the future.
