The Indigenous Council of Roraima (CIR) was at the forefront of the march "Congress enemy of the peoples: our future is not for sale", held this Tuesday (7), during the Free Land Camp 2026, in Brasilia.
The mobilization went from the Esplanade of the Ministries to the National Congress, bringing together thousands of indigenous people from different regions of the country in an act of denunciation and resistance in the face of threats to territorial rights.
The CIR participated with a delegation of about 40 leaders, who marched together with the delegations that make up the Coordination of Indigenous Organizations of the Brazilian Amazon, strengthening the unity of the indigenous peoples of the Amazon in the defense of territories, life and the future.
