The initiative seeks to provide information on data on violence against women in Roraima, a state that has high rates of violence, reinforcing the need to treat the issue seriously, especially in indigenous territories and communities.

For the General Tuxaua of the Indigenous Women's Movement, Kelliane Wapichana, it is necessary to put an end to the different types of violence against women, highlighting that women and young people deserve respect and security.

"Today we are living in a scenario with a lot of violence against us, women, and our duty, as an organization and institutions, is to put a stop to this. We want to be respected, we no longer want to hear that there are women being beaten or suffering other types of aggression,"said Kelliane.
